“Air supply plate technoloy”

Combining knowhow of artisans and new technology, the pattern designs of a product is categorized to each part of the product for precise cutting process. To make the complete product without errors, patterned materials should be assorted to be cut precisely and accurately without any errors.

Due to the nature of rainwear materials, different types of materials have their own properties and features, and this makes it hard to cut different materials according to their patterns without errors.

“Laser Cutting System”

Each material aligned by 'AIR SUPPLY PLATE TECHNOLOY' is cut by the 'LASER BLADE CUTTING' system, not by tailoring shears or knives, within the marginal error of 1 mm.

Even difficult and complex pattern designs that could not be cut accurately with mechanical tailoring equipment can be cut well with the future-oriented later tailoring technology. With this system, SEIL can effectively and safely cut materials to make products of high quality.

“High Frequency Press”

A few models of Swallow Rainwear are produced with 'high frequency press' that bonds products using high frequency, not with sewing methods.

The products made by high frequency press are produced using even and stable high frequency oscillation.
The high frequency press line applied to the production process of Swallow Rainwear has been upgraded to have stability and 1.5 times more generating power than the previous line. It generates high frequency, vibrates molecules of a material to the melting point, and deposit them.

In the sewing process that completes a product using a sewing machine, however, our skillful artisans do all the work manually not using mechanical equipment except for a sewing machine. Many sewing systems have been developed recently, but we think the sewing process that completes a product should be processed manually by experts because only manual work can create comfortable and natural wearing sensation.

'Double sheeting' Process for Perfect Waterproof

'Double sheeting' process, the exclusive technology of SEIL, is double waterproof coating process inside a material and a seam sealing process that prevents rain from seeping through sewing lines. The best seam sealing technology in Korea and double waterproof coating process make the waterproof product to endure more than 10,000 ppm water pressure.

Also, special waterproof thread is used for sewing process, and a multiple independent waterproof coating method has been developed to make light and flexible waterproof materials, which guarantee comfort.
